Gary and Trish Walker are revolutionizing the world of commercial cleaning. From their headquarters in the heart of the U.S. (suburban Kansas City) they're making it more environmentally friendly. True visionaries, Gary and Trish are on the forefront of green cleaning, leading the charge to make a difference in the nation’s heartland.

A decorated veteran, Gary proudly served in the Air Force. While in the military, Gary was a law enforcement officer working both security and police functions. Gary has been the recipient of many awards including the Air Force’s Medal for Outstanding Achievement for undercover drug officer work that resulted in 46 arrests. He was also awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service for saving a $4.5 million aircraft from blowing an engine. Unfortunately Gary was severely injured in the line of duty, ending his military career. Gary is now recognized as a 60 percent disabled veteran.

With his entrepreneurial spirit still in tact, Gary and his wife Trish returned to the U.S., and in 1996 founded Magic Touch Cleaning. Today, Magic Touch is a leading commercial cleaning company in the Kansas City area—and the only one that is completely green—using products that are eco-friendly and safe for his workers and those of his clients. Gary and Trish built their business from the ground up and today Magic Touch boasts more than 161 accounts throughout the Midwest.

Gary’s and Trish's latest endeavors will have an impact for generations to come. This summer, Gary and Trish will launch several green clean initiatives. They will be introducing Return to Green, an environmentally friendly cleaning product line. In June 2007, they will open a residential retail products outlet in the Kansas City area. They are also the only distributor in the Midwest for Greening the Cleaning® a new line of eco-friendly products. And last but not least, Gary and Trish will be rolling out the Environmental Cleaning Institute that will educate and train other commercial cleaners — even their competitors — on how to build a successful business centered on cleaning green.

In addition to being good stewards of the environment, Gary and Trish truly believe in giving back to their local community. They are active in their church, a domestic violence shelter and various other charities. When Gary and Trish are not focused on green cleaning, they enjoy time with their two children.
